Tea Time with Women in Mathematics

Hello everyone!
We hope that you had a good start into the new semester! If you want to lighten up the darker days
with some tea, cookies and interesting conversations with other women* in maths, then we have
just the event for you: The first Tea Time of this semester will take place on the 28th of October
from 3 to 5pm in the Hausdorff room (Endenicher Allee 60). You will get the chance to network
with fellow students and lecturers. Prof. Niethammer, Dr. Kiesel, Prof. Traub and Dr. Krapf will be
among the attendees. The event will be bilingual in English and German.
The "Tea Time with Women in Mathematics" is a series of events organized by the gender equality
committee with the aim to foster networking among women* in mathematics. There are
approximately three events every semester which range from interesting discussion panels on a
variety of topics to relaxed tea drinking in good company, like this event. At every Tea Time all
female, intersexual, non-binary, transgender, and agender persons are invited. The expression
“women*” is also to be understood this way.
Feel free to attend the whole two hours or to just quickly drop by to get some cookies!
We are looking forward to meeting you!
