Tea Time for Women in Mathematics
Hello everyone,
We hope that you have had a wonderful start into the new semester! But are you already worrying about how to improve your work/study-life balance this time around? Or are you thinking about pursuing a PhD and unsure if and how a good work-life balance in an academic career is achievable? Our next Tea Time with Women in Mathematics with the title “Work/study-life balance in mathematics” aims to provide answers and advice on both of these topics. It will take place on Thursday, the 24th of April, from 4:45 to 6:15pm in the Hausdorff-room. We have invited two Master’s students (Jimena Lozano, Victoria Durán), one PhD student (Annabell Gros) and a PostDoc (Hannah Dell) who will first take part in a short panel discussion and then answer your questions and give advice in smaller groups. The panel discussion will be in English but there can be a German speaking group afterwards if needed. As always all female, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender persons are invited.
We hope to see you there!
