Free Printing in the Math Center

There is a free printing service available in the MZ!

As of right now, the process is a bit convoluted and free printing the appropriate website is only available in German, but we will walk you through it here.

First off, navigate to http://uniprint.uni-bonn.de/studentWelcome.aspx (the website is hard to find via search engines, so it pays to have the link bookmarked somewhere).

Here, select the option “Druckdatei senden” from the sidebar. Now, input a string (that you need to remember!) into the prompted field and click the button below. Finally, you can upload your files.

Now, find the printer on the ground floor of the MZ, directly to the right of the main entrance and on the opposite side of the entrance to the library.
The room is mostly filled with lockers, you however are looking for the big printer in front of you. On the printer’s touchscreen, select “uniprint” and enter the string you previously chose, then select the files you uploaded. Unfortunately, again, all the menus are in German.

To the top left you can choose whether to print in colour or black and white, and to the left of it the amount of copies. Select “drucken” (German for print) to confirm.
